The Mold that Changed the World

  • Science Gallery Atlanta 225 Rogers St NE Atlanta, GA, 30317 United States (map)

Science Gallery Atlanta is partnering with Charades Theater Company and the British Consulate of Atlanta to bring the Edinburgh Fringe sell-out musical, “The Mold that Changed the World,” to Atlanta for a week of performances!

About “The Mold that Changed the World”

Resonating with today’s health crises, this musical tells the story of the greatest discovery of our time - penicillin!

The Mold bends time, arcing from a dystopian, drugless future back to Alexander Fleming's world-changing discovery of penicillin, as we watch through his eyes how one moment changed the course of all of our lives…

Music, dance, circus wheel acrobatics and kilted Scotsmen frame a lyrical Scottish folk-influenced score and a gripping plot that will challenge you to consider the turning point humanity now faces. Don’t miss this unique experience!
