Culture Night

  • Science Gallery Atlanta 225 Rogers Street Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30317 United States (map)

Culture Night is a night of spoken word, music, and food experiences produced by our Science Gallery Atlanta Mediators where we invite young people to experience the current exhibition and share their own experiences about JUSTICE.

What does JUSTICE mean to you? This is a question that we’ve been asking since the JUSTICE exhibition began, and now we’re excited to continue that conversation with our very first Culture Night! This event is free to attend, and if you’d like to sign up for the open mic/spoken word portion of the event, please sign up here.

About our Science Gallery Atlanta Mediators:

Science Gallery Mediators are the superheroes of Science Gallery, a multi-talented team of young STEAM communicators who discuss the themes explored in our exhibitions with visitors to Science Gallery. Their primary role is to engage people in conversations about our exhibitions, events, and education programs. Focusing on storytelling and conversation around science and art, the Mediator model enables critical thought, creativity, confidence, adaptability and interpersonal approaches. The experience of working as a Mediator at Science Gallery helps young people to explore new ideas and opportunities, to think about the future they want to shape and equips them with the with 21st-century skills they need to succeed in their future careers
